ஆளும் பாரதீய ஜனதாக் கட்சியின் தலைவர்களில் ஒருவரும், ஜெயலலிதாவின் நண்பரும் ஆலோசகருமான சுப்பிரமணியன் சுவாமி 13 வது திருத்தச்சட்டத்தைக் கூட அமுலாக்கத் தேவையில்லை எனத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இலங்கை இனக்கொலை இராணுவம் நடத்தும் மாநாட்டில் முக்கிய விருந்தினராகக் கலந்துகொண்ட ஆதிக்கசாதி வெறியரான சுவாமி இலங்கையிலிருந்து இக்கருத்தைத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். 13ம் திருத்தச் சட்டத்தின் 95 வீதமான பரிந்துரைகளை இலங்கை அரசாங்கம் அமுல்படுத்தியுள்ளதாகக் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
13ம் திருத்தச் சட்டம் குறித்த உடன்படிக்கையானது இந்தியா இலங்கை ஆகிய நாடுகளுக்கு இடையிலான இரு தரப்பு உடன்படிக்கையாகும் என அவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இவ்வாறான ஓர் பின்னணியில் 13ம் திருத்தச் சட்டத்தை அமுல்படுத்துமாறு இலங்கையை இந்தியா பலவந்தப்படுத்த முடியாது எனஅவர் சுட்டிக்காட்டியுள்ளார்.
இலங்கை ஓர் ஜனநாயக நாடு எனவும் விமர்சனங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும் எனவும் அவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
எனினும், இந்த விமர்சனங்கள் தொடர்பில் கூடுதல் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை என அவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் மனித உரிமைப் பேரவையினால் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டுள்ள தீர்மானம் கூட ஒர் சாதாரண பேப்பரே தவிர வேறு எவுதம் கிடையாது என சுப்ரமணியம் சுவாமி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

But, here this guy studied from the Kurunagala Maliyaveda College…
And last year when I went back to my motherland, send some parcels through Tricco to their Kurunagala depot (not for me… What ever I can for the needy people) that time my friend who came with with from Puththalam show this College for me… Still I remember…
Dr, I know my feelings… When I went there I don’t no Sinhala, but my Puththalam friend who settled there after 1987 knows Sinhala very well & a JP there…
But where ever I talked over there (Kurunagala & on the way) who ever I met I told them, “I don’t no Sinhala &’they tried to communicate in Eng. ( and I bought the tiles for the washroom in Alampil, Mullaitivu in Kurunagala with a good customer service…)
